NORTHERN POWERGRID CARRIAGEWAY WORKS
Northern Power Grid are starting works from Monday 12th October in the verge at the Scotch Corner end of the works shown in the plans below.
Following this they intend to start the rest of the works from outside the Skeeby substation working through Skeeby from Monday 19th October for a maximum of 5 weeks.
The works from Darlington Road into the substation on Cross Lanes are complete.

From this week, most residents in the former Richmondshire area will need to use their new recycling wheelie bins instead of their boxes and bags. The blue lidded bin is for paper and card, and the red lidded bin is for glass, cans, plastics and cartons.

North Yorkshire Council would like to inform you that essential cobble relaying works will be carried out in the Market Place, Richmond.

NOTICE FROM NYC REGARDING CANCELLED ROADS CLOSURES
Dear All
I am writing to inform you that the planned road closures in the Skeeby area, which were scheduled to take place between 20 July and 16 August to facilitate the installation of 300 kVA cables from Skeeby Substation to Scotch Corner, have now been cancelled.
This is due to operational issues within Northern Powergrid, concerns on the roundabout A66 and the requirement to drill under the roundabout to install the cables .
