MARKET PLACE, RICHMOND – RELAYING OF COBBLES
North Yorkshire Council would like to inform you that essential cobble relaying works will be carried out in the Market Place, Richmond.
The works are currently scheduled to begin on Monday 7 September 2026 and are expected to last for approximately 12 weeks. Working hours will be 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

NOTICE FROM NYC REGARDING CANCELLED ROADS CLOSURES
Dear All
I am writing to inform you that the planned road closures in the Skeeby area, which were scheduled to take place between 20 July and 16 August to facilitate the installation of 300 kVA cables from Skeeby Substation to Scotch Corner, have now been cancelled.
This is due to operational issues within Northern Powergrid, concerns on the roundabout A66 and the requirement to drill under the roundabout to install the cables .
