CANCELLED Planned Road Closures 20th July to 16th August

NOTICE FROM NYC REGARDING CANCELLED ROADS CLOSURES

Dear All

I am writing to inform you that the planned road closures in the Skeeby area, which were scheduled to take place between 20 July and 16 August to facilitate the installation of 300 kVA cables from Skeeby Substation to Scotch Corner, have now been cancelled.

This is due to operational issues within Northern Powergrid, concerns on the roundabout A66 and the requirement to drill under the roundabout to install the cables .

At present, no alternative dates have been confirmed for these works.

We will provide further information once a revised programme has been agreed.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
